The Sri Subramanya Charitable Trust (SSCT) Board consists of 5 Trustees… including 2 Founding members, Mrs. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan and Mrs. Nandini Ramanan. Mrs. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan is the wife of Padma Shri S. Ramakrishnan, Founding member of the renowned ASSA- Amar Seva Sangam, Ayikudy.

Smt. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan started assisting her husband Shri S. Ramakrishnan from the year 1985
& was one of the dedicated persons in the development of various activities of ASSA-Amar Seva
Sangam, Ayikudy, an Institution dedicated to uplifting the physically-challenged children and
youngsters.

She has been instrumental in founding SSCT along with her husband and continues to date as the
organization’s Managing Trustee since its inception, 08 / 02 / 2006 (8th Feb 2006).
2.) Smt. Nandini Ramanan (w/o Shri T. S. R. Venkatramana) << attach latest photo & Smt. Nandini Ramanan is a house wife while being a Charter Member of Inner Wheel Club. She had held the post of the President of Inner Wheel Club for well over a decade from the year 1993 to 2004. She, along with Smt. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan were the early founders of SSCT in Ayikudy & been its Managing Trustee since its inception, 08 / 02 / 2006 (8 th Feb 2006). Besides her other responsibilities she is also a proprietor of a Bakey Manufacturing Unit for well over 12 years. Smt. Nandini presently is running a pickle making unit overseeing its day to day operations.

3.) Shri. M. Balasubramanian (s/o Shri S. Muthuramalingam Pillai) & attach latest foto Shri. M. Balasubramanian has been a life-long teacher, guide & mentor to many students in his past 40+ years of teaching career. With 30 years as teacher in several High & Higher Secondary Schools, more than 9 years as Selection Grade Lecturer in the DIET Munanjipatti college, with around 3 years working as Principal in Gandhi Teacher Training Institute Sathyamangalam, Erode district. Besides teaching & shaping impressionist young minds, his interest spreads across Art, Literature and poetry.

4.) Smt. R. Pitchammal (w/o Shri P. Ramalingam) & attach latest foto & Smt. R. Pitchammal is a Housewife and like Mrs. Nandini is a Charter Member of Inner Wheel Club of Courtallam. She has held the post of President of the above club for a tenure of 4 terms along with being it’s Secretary for 3 terms. It’s noteworthy that during her illustrious life of service… Smt. R.

Shri. S. Chandrasekaran has been a career banker with a 35 year experience retiring as a Chief
Manager (Scale - IV) in the Central Bank of India. He has been a recipient of many accolades &
awards, noteworthy being from Indian Science Forum. His other interests & passion is around
Conservation of Nature, Wildlife study etc.
